Soiled Reputation Farm
Just outside of Stratford, in Sebringville Ontario, chefs, farmers and naturalists Antony John and Tina Vandenheuvel raise organic gourmet greens and 50 varieties of vegetables on the 80-acre farm where Tina was raised. The farm’s dark, rich soils, and location in an area of mild microclimate combine to produce conditions perfect for growing high quality, flavourful produce.
The land is managed as part of the larger ecosystem that surrounds it, and the crops share space with a wide diversity of wildlife, including migratory and resident birds. Soiled Reputation Farm supplies markets and restaurants throughout southern Ontario, as well as having a proud place in the Ontario's Own product line.
Welsh-born John is also known for his turn as host of Food Network’s The Manic Organic program, where the veggies were the stars, complete with little dancing caricatures and ecstatic applause.
Soiled Reputation Farm vegetables are featured in Ontario’s Own Vegetable Stock.
